I've watched this movie 4 times now. Each time I've rewatched this movie I've picked up on new Easter Eggs, foreshadowing, etc. If you pay attention to details the movie can be quite revealing. Which I really love! For example, Richard actually exposes himself cheating on his wife by throwing the baseball out the window when looking for the hidden letter that Harlan wrote. Next, later on, as Blanc and Marta are combing the mansion for clues he throws the baseball for the dogs in the yard but instead, they return the broken lattice, leaving the baseball out in the yard. Finally, near the end of the movie we see Linda returning the recovered baseball to her late father's study. There she finds the letter open and thus revealing Richard being a cheater. Full circle. Like a donut hole within a donut. Also, when Ransom is first revealed to us the dogs are barking at him and jumping on him like crazy. The same testimony we are told that when the dogs were heard barking late at night from when he came back to mess with the medicine bag. Finally, you can also see the painting of Harlan change from having a stoic/concerned look (when Marta is looking at it before her interview with Blanc) and then when the mystery is solved at the end of the movie we can see Harlan smirking/smiling. These are just some of my favorite ones that I noticed! Others include the foreshadowing of the stage prop knife from Harlan and then Ransom stabbing Marta with a stage prop knife and the family getting Marta's nationality wrong every time they mention where she is from. I believe this movie was wonderfully written and shot. I can't wait for the second one to come out.

CLUE: 2019. No one can tell me the costume dept. wasn't intentional with their colors and that Daniel Craig isn't the culprit, lol. Can we just take a moment to appreciate Chris Evans in this movie? He was AMAZING. Another small detail that I love is when the detectives and Blanc are reviewing everyones stories of the night, Joni either forgets or (what is more likely) purposefully hides/lies about something. According to the detectives, when Joni checks up on Harlan and Marta, she ends the conversation with “love you” but in reality, she ends the conversation with asking/talking about the “family situation” and the double dipping in allowance. Just another detail to how Joni was really secretive about her need for money. Its small but it shows how when we remember, we tend to remember what we want to. Its easy to slip something false into a lot of truth.

Me likey lots. ❤️💋. Is it bad that Ransom is my favorite character in this movie? Maybe it was because he was the most fun to watch. I bailed on Cinemasins around a year back. It felt like every video things were just getting meaner and more bitter. That used to be kind of fun, hearing real bile when a movie was genuinely awful or insulting, but it felt like it was becoming a constant, even for movies that were inoffensive or honestly pretty good. Things seem. a lot better now. I won't speculate on anything going on with the creator, but I will say that the recent videos have gone back to being a lot more enjoyable.

I got into the early screening of knives out, the only reason I went to see it is I was certain that it was going to suck and I wanted to let people know before the official release, I ended up really liking the movie and seeing it again later on with my friend. I absolutely hated The Last Jedi and still to this day I think it is the worst Star Wars movie ever made and only a half-decent movie if it wasn't attached to the Star Wars name. But I am willing to give anything a chance, I went into the Last Jedi wanting to love it and hated it, I went into knives out expecting to hate it and loved it. This is where Rian Johnson is able to really thrive with his style of making movies, doing his own thing, I'll be honest I don't even think he would be good at doing a sequel to his own work and I am very nervous about the idea of the proposed sequel to this movie.

This film is A FREAKING MASTERPIECE! Sooooo Underrated... What of the mystery of Rians agent and his mysteriously missing 10% fee. Oh, Chris so handsome. God this movie is so good, I just noticed that Blanc was taping over the medicine labels that he uses to show Marta's skill as a Nurse in a later scene.

Michael Shannon is comedy gold. THIS TIMING WAS IMMACULATE! I saw the movie in theaters when it came out but I've been watching it almost every day for the past three days. I've been praying for a review or an Everything Great About- for this movie.

I think the acyrlic nails really fits Chris Evans in this movie or rather the only thing missing with Chris Evans. 0:17 so it doesn't only happen in manga... A lot of y'all haven't watched Chris Evan's work before Captain America and it shows 😒. Bruh I love how everybody is trying to make it seem like cutting Ransom out of the will was a good thing like “this might be the best thing to happen to you” and how this might finally let him grow up and all hell breaks loose when they themselves find out they TOO were cut out from the will 😂😂😂 so privileged and condescending snotty rich people. I love this movie.
